Default muscle

Hi Fedor

Gaining muscle without gaining a bit of fat is hard to as to gain muscle you need to consume more calories than you would normally the excess calories are used to build the new muscle fibres and teh rest may be stored as fat. Most body builders go through two phases a bulk and a cut. Durin the bulk they consume more calories and concentrate on muscle building exercises (compound exercises like the deadlift and squat)work the bigger muscle groups which in turn release the hormones that kick start muscle growth. once you have made significant gains you then go on cut (reduce calories combines with cardio) to strip off the fat gained during the bulk. The theory also states that the hormones relased cardio work supresses muscle growth as the body is trying to streamline it self I guess at least some of this must be true as you dont see too many bulky marathon runners.

Now there are many schools of thought on this theory (I myself am not sure). I would say as long as you eat well, rest well, and lift hard you'll make significant muscle gains. Work hard (heavy weights with lower reps) but never train the same muscle group two days in row.

you can find a lot of work outs and videos on the menshealth site.

Benny, your theory is actually quite interesting. eat and burn !!

well fedor, I suggest you keep working out and have a protein filled diet and also have huge work out sessions [like what the real fedor would have ]

if you do end up gaining a bit of fat, please realize that its not the end of the world.. you could burn fat later on.

but DO NOT go for any artificial supplements or some kinds of medications[drugs]

you want to improve your condition then? very very hard to maintain the same weight and gain muscle!!! best way is to gain size strength and weight then diet off the fat, period.
first thing to address is your diet mate?
